So.... Day #5!
A nice slow paced session for a Sunday morning!
Around 80 mins long, Hot Yin Yoga!
What is yin yoga?
"Initially called “Daoist” yoga this style of yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (vs. the superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body; this Daoist yoga is to help regulate the flow of energy in the body."
This was a easy paced class, but with difficult stretches held for a long period of time, I really noticed it stretching deep into joints and a lot of stretching the fascia accross the body.
Like opening up all those shitty holding patterns we develop through life by poor posture, sitting etc.
You really notice how f**ked up you are! :)
Anyway, day 5 went well, my knees feel much looser than last week!
