So I went back to hot yoga on Sunday just gone, for the first time this year!
Damn my hips and hammys are tight!
Last year, with everything I had going on (no excuse I know - Fitness over all, right?!) and injuries I spent more time at Physio than I did in the gym!
So I thought fuck it! Nothings better than starting the year with an intense blast of hot yoga everyday for a good month (30 days!)
Afterwards I'm not planning to stop, I just figured it's time to put right all the wrongs I have driven into myself with years of lifting. Also increase flexibility, mobility, and generally build a strong foundation before packing on any more muscle or lifting heavy.
After this I'm going to stay consistent with a couple of sessions a week. Yoga has all kinds of benefits, not to mention the full body calm you leave with after a session.
I'm excited to get cracking, and will video document what I'm seeing as the month goes by!
