When it comes to getting things done, you must prioritise the things you need to do!
I'm going to assume you've taken "step 1" so to speak, and wrote everything down the night before.
So you've wrote down what you "think you need to do", examining this list makes you feel.... Wow!... a little overwhelmed!
So where do you begin?... You're never going to get through it all!... What should you do first?....

I'm very goal driven and always looking ahead, usually around 90 days at a time.
I find it very hard to look back in detail, and often ask myself "What month of the year is it again? Shit where did the time go!"
Is a virtue....
Today I paused and reflected - And you should too!....
...The past few days I've been beating myself up, as I was struggling to piece together a new business project in my mind!
Then I took a moment and thought....
