So last weekend we spent in Oxford (UK)
A brief trip, just the saturday - back home sunday night...
What a place... What an old unusual place...
The brief video above is mainly around the Christ Church Cathedral, and all the happenings inside on that day.
Its rich in history and dates back hundreds and hundreds of years, you can find out more at...
It was great to walk around and take in all the views and history.
If you're into history definitley check out the Ashmolean Museum!
"The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford’s museum of art and archaeology, founded in 1683"
"Oxford is full of picturesque historic buildings, and is therefore a favourite of the film industry.
It is a key location for the popular TV series Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. Parts of Christ Church, the Bodleian Library and New College starred in the Harry Potter films.
The list of films that Oxford has played a part in goes on and on!
Oxfordshire has lent a scenic backdrop to series like:
Downton Abbey and Midsomer Murders, Blenheim Palace starred in countless films, such as James Bond and Mission Impossible.
Broughton Castle can be recognized from Shakespeare in Love and other great period dramas, Didcot Railway Centre featured in Anna Karenina and Queen’s music video “Breakthrough” and Sherlock Holmes – there is no end to places you might recognize from the big screen in Oxfordshire!"
So there you go!
If you get the chance I'd say go!
